Methodology

Our professional and proven data-driven methodology to identify Best Employers uses 3 data sources. The alignment between the CEO’s strategic goals, HR’s input on programs that meet these goals and the employee voice is examined. An external jury reviews the data to determine a final list of Best Employers in each country.

As part of the assessment process, your organization will complete three diagnostic tools:

  • Employee Opinion Survey – a short questionnaire which your employees answer to measure their engagement and satisfaction levels.
  • CEO Questionnaire and Interview – a short questionnaire and interview with the CEO, to collect their views on the business and people perspective of your organization.
  • People Practices Inventory – a questionnaire about your HR practices, completed by your HR function.

The criteria for selecting Best Employers in Asia is based on four elements identified as being consistent to Aon Hewitt's Best Employers history of more than a decade in Asia:

  • Employee engagement
  • A compelling employer brand
  • Effective leadership
  • A high performance culture

Participants will be assessed and their performance graded, depending on the extent to which they demonstrate excellence in each of these criteria.
