From Passive to Confident Consumer
For the fourth year, Aon Hewitt and the National Business Group on Health has looked to the American health care consumer (employees and dependents) to understand their perspectives, attitudes, and behaviors toward health and health care as they interact with their employer-sponsored health plans and wellness programs.

This year, unlike previous years' research, we wanted to hear the voice of the consumers, literally. We conducted in-depth, in-person focus groups. Our research goal? To understand how employees and employers can work together to transform the consumer from a Passive Patient to Confident Consumer.
