Our main focus is to contain the programme costs through accurate reserving, proactive incident and claims management, structured litigation management and the vigorous pursuit of subrogation, whilst delivering a proactive claims service to our clients.
We differ from traditional Liability Adjustors in that we specialize in handling ‘self-insured’ programmes for Clients, rather than doing a majority of work for Insurers. We believe this gives us a uniquely client focused approach, whilst we still appreciate the Insurer’s requirements.

Case Management Philosophy:
ACM work with the Client to actively manage any incident or claim that arises. We emphasise accident prevention and feed back risk management information to the Client from our bespoke IT system, with a view to reducing the number of incidents occurring. Once an incident has occurred we provide significant support to the Client with a view to managing the incident and preventing it becoming a legal claim.
Programme Steps:
We spend time with the Client at the commencement of the programme to ensure that there is a full understanding of the programme and we agree a procedural document so that all parties are clear of what their obligations are in the programme.
ACM’s experienced personnel manage all cases that arise in the programme. We aim to develop good working relationships with the Client so that maximum input is obtained in terms of the investigation and management of the incidents and claims.

We fundamentally believe that the best results will only be obtained in a self-insured programme where the Client has ownership of the programme. Our approach aims to deliver a situation where the Client has all the support required from ACM to achieve this.
