Client situation

Aon was engaged by the seller and the buyer to assist with due diligence; the parties waived any conflict and Aon Hewitt created and enforced an effective clean team approach maintaining a strict "Chinese Wall". The acquisition involved approximately 12,000 employees in more than 65 countries. The client needed direction on the below:

  • Support on overall HR project management and integration strategy
  • Assess and developing the go-forward enterprise operating model, overall HR strategy, HR operating model, integrated HR structure and staffing model
  • Support the development and communication of retention incentives
  • Compare and alignment of benefit, compensation, and talent management programs and processes including performance management and incentive programs
  • Assess current cultures of the two organizations, advise on future culture and recommending roadmap to attain efficient culture integration
  • Identify vendors and developing go-forward core HRMS platform, core HR processes, HR service delivery model and related implementation planning
