Aon Insurance Micronesia (Saipan) Inc. has been licensed to transact insurance business on Saipan since the early 1950s. We are a fully licensed insurance agent, insurance broker and surplus lines broker, offering all lines of Property and Casualty insurance. Aon Insurance Micronesia has corresponding offices throughout the Federated States of Micronesia, Majuro and the Republic of Palau.

Our History and Facts
The formation of Aon in Guam and Saipan support its roots, which go back to 1914. Atkins Kroll Inc. was acquired by the Inchcape Group to coordinate the growing copra trade in the Pacific Islands. Atkins Kroll Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Inchcape Group traded motor vehicles, insurance, marketing and shipping on the island of Guam.

In December 1995 Atkins Kroll Insurance Inc. (Guam) and Microl Corporation, Inc. (Saipan) became a subsidiary of Bain Hogg International Holdings., the insurance arm of Inchcape plc. In 1996 the Aon Group acquired Bain Hogg International Holdings Inc.

To further compliment Aon’s establishment as an international insurance broking division in the region of Micronesia, Aon acquired the Baldwin Insurance book of business. Baldwin was established as a local insurance broker in Guam in 1978 with gross income at the end of 2000 of US$428,000 net of GRT. Today it continues to trade as Aon Risk Services.
