Actuarial Consulting

Actuarial consulting is the foundation upon which we grew in Switzerland. For pension funds we:

• Prepare financing concepts, including recommendations concerning actuarial interest rates and financing risk
• Prepare calculations in accordance with national (RFC/FER) and international principles and accounting standards (such as IFRS, IPSAS, and US GAAP)
• Develop profit and loss analyses
• Analyze risk and assess re-insurance needs
• Determine remedial measures in case of underfunding
• Review plan design
• Provide advice and analysis of benefit liabilities in the context of corporate transactions and contractual negotiations

Legal Advice

We prepare regulations and resolve complex insurance cases. We work closely with our clients to design innovative solutions for their financing and performance objectives. Our legal staff accompanies the client’s pension plan from inception to its eventual (partial) liquidation; they also provide consulting on individual insurance cases.

Training

We help Pension Board members and occupational benefits staff stay abreast of the latest developments.
