Flooded Estates and Listed Properties Could be 60% Underinsured
LONDON, 11 March 2008 – Claims for the 2007 summer UK floods have revealed that estates, farms and country homes could be underinsured by up to 60% of their value. Following today’s gales and flood warnings, specialist insurance broker Aon is now urging owners to carry out valuations on their property and assets to ensure they have adequate cover in the event of the next flood or crisis.
