Aon W-8IMY Forms - Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)
Where required by law, Aon will send to our clients a copy of the appropriate W-8IMY form for the Aon entity with which our clients transact business. In order to satisfy client requests for the electronic receipt of information, Aon’s W-8IMY forms are also made available online via the links below. Your firm may be required to take certain actions in order to be FATCA compliant and you should consult with your tax and/or compliance advisor to determine how you may be impacted by FATCA.
You may access the W-8IMY for the appropriate Aon affiliate by clicking on the links below. A number of Aon’s brokers are qualified intermediaries (QIs) as a result of entering into an agreement with the Internal Revenue Service to become primarily liable for any U.S. withholding tax due upon the failure to properly withhold under FATCA. The purpose of Aon’s QI program is to alleviate the overall compliance burden on our clients. Aon’s QIs are separately noted before all of Aon's non-U.S. entities below.
