Remuneration and Governance Reporting

Remuneration & Governance Reporting Seminars

Autumn 2019

This year remuneration has continued to take centre stage a number of companies have reviewed their remuneration policies. At the same time, the UK Government, regulators and investors are broadening their expectations for good governance practice and reporting.

Broad market interest in executive remuneration ensures that Director pay remains in the spotlight in 2019 and continues to fuel debate. In particular, Boards have needed to adapt remuneration policies and practices to take account of a revised UK Corporate Governance Code, new statutory disclosure obligations (such as the CEO Pay Ratio disclosures) and revised guidelines from the Investment Association. As remuneration committees execute their agendas and implement the new Code, they need to focus on ensuring transparency in executive pay and will find themselves accountable if it appears to be disconnected from long-term corporate performance, culture and values.

These seminars will cover the most recent trends in remuneration reporting and provide an update on other key developments on corporate governance issues and will take place in September & October 2019 in four cities.
