• Increasing England & Wales mortality improvements. England & Wales has experienced over 12 months of strong national mortality improvement. Matt will unpick the most recent data, provide a view on the next CMI Mortality Projections Model (CMI_2019) and consider whether the drivers behind recent mortality experience can inform our view of the future.
• Combined dependants and longevity modelling. Andy will present Aon’s analysis of the widowhood effect on dependant mortality. He will also review how using marital status can enhance setting best estimate mortality in general.
• Insights into Dutch mortality. As the Dutch longevity reinsurance market hots up, we share some insights into setting Dutch mortality assumptions, both (a) base mortality using postcode modelling and (b) Dutch mortality projections, including interaction with the AG tables.
