In late 2015, the Pensions Regulator issues its guidance on Integrated Risk Management (IRM) which looks at the overall risk from covenant, investment and funding combined. Although the Pensions Regulator starts the guidance with 13 questions for trustees and employers, there are actually over 80 key principles & questions embedded within it. In this session we consider what the guidance covers and how to approach it in a proportionate and pragmatic way.
We held a webcast on the 21 January 2016 where Lynda Whitney chaired a panel of Aon experts covering funding (John Coulthard), investment (Tim Giles) and covenant (Aidan O'Mahony). They explained what the Regulator wants to see, and what you should think about to develop your own Integrated Risk Management plan.
