Phillip Jones is the Compensation Product Manager for Cornerstone OnDemand, located in Santa Monica, California. Cornerstone OnDemand helps organizations to recruit, train and manage their people. Working with hundreds of the world's largest companies - from Walgreens and Starwood Hotels & Resorts to Deutsche Post DHL and Xerox - and thousands of smaller ones to help them engage their workforces and empower their people. Compensation technology allows organizations to generate another level of system centralization, security, and integrity of its compensation data. Additionally, by creating efficiencies and a pay for performance methodology, companies are able to retain high performers by tying review scores and other metrics to compensation increases.
As the Compensation Product Manager, Phillip oversees product enhancements and maintenance from concept to release, including all phases of the product life cycle. As the Product Manager, Phillip builds and improves the Compensation Product based on direct customer feedback and market conditions. While many organizations have different ways of administering compensation, what they nearly all have in common is the desire to retain their more productive, and higher performing employees. Prior to managing the Compensation Product, Phillip worked at Cornerstone as an Implementation Consultant on over forty Compensation Implementations. During that time, he gathered client requirements and needs, while promoting proper workflows and compensation life cycles. Before working at Cornerstone OnDemand, Phillip implemented a large, companywide software solution at a major medical device company. Phillip graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor's in Economics. |
