Manufacturing Rewards Conclave - Fueling Thoughts, Energy, Hope
The Aon Annual Rewards Conference for the manufacturing sector was organized in Gurgaon in November 2015. The event was a mixture of case studies, panel discussions and speaker addresses.The focus of this gathering was to spend a day with business, HR & Reward heads of some of India's pre-eminent manufacturing organizations in discussing their perspectives on talent & reward trends and also in identifying key priorities and challenges as the 'Make in India' initiative gains momentum. A variety of issues and topics were explored through the day at the inaugural event this year.The common theme emerging in the sessions was the emphasis laid on the development and evolution of the blue collared workforce. In addition, there was a huge focus on matching the growing needs of the generationally diverse workforce.

Banking GICs Roundtable - Moving up the Value Chain
The Aon 6th Banking Global In-house Captives' roundtable discussion was organized in Mumbai in May this year. The discussion saw participation from 15 major BFSI GICs in the country. The focus of this gathering was to spend a day with business, HR & Reward heads of some of India's largest BFSI GICs in discussing their perspectives on the changing value proposition and the impact on talent & reward trends. The major trend emerging in the sessions was - how the service offering portfolio is quickly evolving to include higher order functions. Hence the BFSI GICs are re-examining their existing talent strategies and looking for ways to adapt to or in some cases even preempt the changes to come.The group discussed common challenges and exchanged notes on best and off beat practices in the market. Running into its sixth year, this roundtable discussion has formed a cohesive group of HR individuals who are able to exchange ideas and create value for their organizations.

Real Estate Roundtable - Transitioning to a Professionally Managed Service
Post the closure of the third Real Estate forum, a RE round table was organized in April to bring together all the clients to discuss the prevailing trends and challenges that the industry is facing today. The real estate industry is hindered by several challenges currently which include slowing sales, challenges around cash flows and deliveries etc. Several organizations are systematically transitioning towards a more professionally managed approach and Aon is actively partnering with our clients to assimilate and embed practices around performance management, rewards strategies, employee engagement policies.
