Ashley leads Aon’s Wealth Solutions business for the Asia Pacific region (incorporating Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Taiwan ROC, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, India, China, Thailand and Indochina, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, and Aon’s International Wealth Practice) and sits on Aon’s Global Executive Leadership Team with responsibility for Asia Pacific Wealth Solutions strategy and the development of new cross-specialty solutions from concept to market, in areas such as International Retirement Solutions and Financial Wellbeing.
Ashley has over 25 years’ experience of the employee benefits, retirement and investment, actuarial and risk consulting environment across different geographies. Ashley joined Aon in September 1998 and has worked across various Aon offices internationally, most recently as Financial & Professional Services Industry Leader for Asia Pacific as part of Aon’s Global Benefits business, and prior to that as Head of Sales and Key Client Management for Aon’s Retirement Solutions in Australia. Ashley’s role prior to that was with Aon in the UK as Client Relationship Manager to a portfolio of domestic and cross-border clients.
Ashley has presented across various industry sector association events and media, including Bloomberg, Sky Business News, Retirement & Investment Magazine, South China Morning Post, Australian Financial Review, Institute of Directors, Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, Sydney Morning Herald, Investment News, Silicon Valley Employers Forum, Investment Magazine, Institute of Actuaries of Australia, Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia, The One Brief, Aon Advanced Risk Conference, Workplace Superannuation Specialists Australia, Aon Insights Asia, and Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees.
Ashley is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries UK (FIA), Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA), Technical Representative (Licenced Hong Kong Insurance Broker) and MPF Intermediary, and holds a First Class Honours Degree from the University of Warwick UK in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics; and holds a certificate in Mandarin (HSK).
