Paul is Head of Commercial Risk Solutions in Asia. In this role, he leads Aon's team of professionals across the eleven markets in the region, who provide a full range of advisory and risk transfer services for clients' specialty and general insurance needs.
Prior to this role, Paul was the Chief Executive Officer of Aon Hong Kong Limited and was responsible for the overall management and development of Commercial Risk Solutions, Health Solutions and Affinity services, including fostering of major client relationships, revenue and margin enhancement, and the maintenance of strategic partnerships with Hong Kong-based insurers.
Until his appointment as the Hong Kong CEO, Paul was the Head of Energy & Mining and interim Head of Construction, Power & Infrastructure for Specialty Broking, within Aon Risk Solutions in the Asia region, with responsibility for client service delivery, business development and team leadership for these specialty industry sectors across Aon in Asia.
Paul has more than twenty-five years of experience in the insurance broking sector and has been based in the Asia-Pacific region for nineteen years, including fourteen years in Hong Kong.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Business, is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), and a Senior Associate of the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIFF (Snr Assoc) CIP).
Paul is married with two daughters. He enjoys trail running and hiking in Hong Kong’s national parks.
