116th Congress Begins Session, SOTU Address January 29
On January 3, 2019, the 116th Congress officially convened. On that same day, the House extended an invitation to President Trump to provide his second State of the Union (SOTU) address on January 29, 2019. Currently, the partial government shutdown remains in effect.
