The White House Announces a Framework Designed to Lower Health Care Costs
On January 15, 2026, the White House announced an outline of its preferred health care initiatives entitled “The Great Healthcare Plan” and called on Congress to enact those initiatives. The announcement includes many health care initiatives previously supported by President Trump, but it does not provide specific details.
