Jayaram is currently the Global Chief Human Resources Officer at UPL Limited (formerly known as United Phosphorous Limited) and is based in Mumbai. UPL is a global generic crop protection, chemicals and seeds company, headquartered in Mumbai.

Prior to UPL, Jayaram has worked in Cargill for 18+ years as HR Director based in India, Indonesia, Singapore and USA, across multiple Business Sectors and Corporate Functions. Jayaram holds an MBA in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
