Engaging Millennials in the economic downturn 


Aon Hewitt’s 2012 Trends in Global Employee Engagement research has found that there are clear generational differences in engagement, both in terms of how engaged employees are and what is driving their engagement.

A particular area of interest is the Millennial population (born 1979 onwards), who are the least engaged but are also showing an unusual pattern of priorities in terms of what is driving their engagement at work.

What are the differences, how might these be influenced by the current economic climate, and most importantly how do we tackle the differing needs of our generational groups?
