Aon announces new UK partners

LONDON, 14 December 2022Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, has announced 16 new UK-based partners in its global Wealth Solutions and Human Capital Solutions.

These promotions continue to build on the breadth of innovation, advice and expertise at Aon, helping clients build a resilient workforce and navigate new forms of volatility.

The new partners are:

Susannah Calder

Susannah Calder is the Trustee Retirement Consulting lead for Aon’s Leeds and Manchester offices, a team of around 50 colleagues across both locations. Susannah is scheme actuary to eight pension schemes, ranging in size from £40 million to £4 billion. She is responsible for new business initiatives in the UK Northern region, and set up and co-leads the Trustee Retirement Consulting Women’s Group to inspire future female leaders.

Alex Cass

Alex Cass leads Aon’s Data Solutions practice for the UK within Human Capital Solutions (HCS), providing human capital data consulting and insights to clients. Alex joined Aon in November 2021 and has more than 20 years of consulting and in-house HR experience across multiple geographies. This includes leading the remuneration function in a number of listed organisations and more recently as chief people officer at a multinational professional services firm.

Nicholas Chambers

Nicholas Chambers is head of data strategy for Aon’s Human Capital Solutions and is based in London. In this role, he works closely with the Technology, Operations and Product Development teams to drive efficient processes and use of data assets across HCS. Prior to, and in between two stints at Aon, Nick was a director at Macquarie Group, where he led the development of an institutional client research distribution platform. Nicholas also performed corporate finance roles at both HSBC and Merrill Lynch.

Alison Cosadinos

Alison Cosadinos is part of the UK International Wealth practice, providing a range of strategic advice to global and regional headquarters of multinational companies on retirement and benefit plans around the world. Alison joined Aon four years ago and has 20 years’ experience as an international pensions and benefits actuary, including both consulting and in-house roles.

Jonathan Craven

Jonathan Craven has over 20 years of pensions industry experience and leads a portfolio of Aon’s Retirement clients. With his breadth and depth of expertise, Jonathan helps clients set and execute strategies to solve their most complex pension- and benefits-related challenges. Alongside his direct client service roles, Jonathan leads Aon’s Leeds location, which has approximately 250 colleagues delivering client services across Pensions, Health & Benefits and Commercial Risk.

Steve Garner

Steve Garner is a member of Aon’s UK Investment Leadership team, which is responsible for managing the UK Investment business. His day-to-day role is UK head of client service and operations in the Investment team. He is responsible for leading seven client service teams covering 140 colleagues across five locations in the UK. Steve has overall responsibility for client service delivery for over 300 clients, with total assets under advice of over £100 billion.

Jane Iannone

Jane Iannone co-leads the 380-strong Pensions Actuarial Services team, operating across 12 locations in the UK and India, and is focused on client service delivery and developing future consulting talent. Jane sits within the Retirement team in St Albans and has recently developed, and now leads, the 45-strong Project Consultancy team nationally. This group identifies opportunities to review the operating model and team structure of business groups, in order to deliver improved operational effectiveness.

Adithi Jagannathan

Adithi Jagannathan is part of the People Advisory team in HCS, helping clients develop and implement various aspects of their people strategy, and with a focus on financial services clients. Prior to her current role, Adithi was a key member of Aon’s Financial Services Rewards practice and led some of the business’ largest global reward relationships. She brings more than 15 years of pay- and people-related advisory experience.

Karina Klimaszewski

Karina Klimaszewski leads a portfolio of defined contribution (DC) and defined benefit (DB) pension scheme clients, and is passionate about ensuring that employees can retire when and how they want. Karina leads on propositions across DC, financial wellbeing and engagement, ensuring that Aon’s solutions meet client objectives, on areas such as retirement journey support and the gender pensions gap.

Richard Marles

Richard Marles joined Aon in 2012 in the Investment Operations Monitoring team and undertook several roles before his current position as global head of planning and strategy in Global Investment Centre Operations. In this role, Richard is responsible for ensuring that the operating models supporting Aon's Delegated Consulting Solutions and the funds managed by Aon remain efficient and effective.

Charlotte Schaller

Charlotte Schaller was promoted to partner in January 2022. With 20 years’ experience across a variety of occupational psychology consultancies, she leads Aon’s Assessment Solutions UK team and is a member of the UK leadership team for HCS. Since joining Aon in 2015, Charlotte has worked across a range of projects including design and delivery of digital assessment and development centres, situational judgement tools, creation of online bespoke ability tests and team-building workshops.

Tom Scott

Tom Scott is a senior member of the UK Risk Settlement Group, advising clients on setting and executing longevity risk management strategies to de-risk their pension schemes and enhance member security. Tom has wide-ranging settlement experience across bulk annuities (buy-ins and buyouts) and longevity swaps, with a particular specialism in leading multi-billion longevity swap projects.

Dilesh Shah

Dilesh Shah leads Aon’s team covering all derivatives used by pension schemes, and has over 20 years of experience in this area. His expertise focuses on developing bespoke client solutions that take account of the latest industry thinking and adapts them into scalable, cost-effective solutions for smaller clients. Dilesh also oversees Aon’s thought leadership and content development in this area.

Martin Wainwright

Martin leads Aon's UK Financial Services data solutions practice. The team is responsible for data-led insights, which provide a wide range of financial services clients with the clarity they need to make better business decisions through remuneration benchmarking, consulting and advisory work. Since joining Aon in 2005, Martin has developed several advisory capabilities including developing, reviewing and aligning incentive structures to market, job evaluation, location strategies and cross-industry differentials.

Louise Wheeler

Louise Wheeler is a senior client leader in the UK DC Solutions team. Louise has played a key role in developing Aon’s client care strategy and is accountable for the management, retention and development of client accounts. Louise leads the client team as well as personally managing some of Aon’s largest DC clients.

Nicholas Yazdani

Nicholas Yazdani joined Aon in 2018 and works within HCS, leading Aon’s financial benchmarking business. He advises clients on a number of strategic areas, including business/functions’ size and scale, cost efficiency, productivity and workforce strategy, as well as managing a number of global relationships with banks across lines of business and functions.
