Tony Baily returns to Aon’s Investment team

LONDON (21 August 2019) –Aon, (NYSE:AON) a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions, has announced that Tony Baily is re-joining the firm as a partner in its Investment team.

Tony Baily returns to Aon after spending four years as a client director with Cardano, where he looked after several of the firm’s key fiduciary clients, both managing the client relationship and advising on investment strategy.

Prior to this, Tony had spent 23 years with Aon. His experience includes being a scheme actuary, a corporate pensions adviser and an investment consultant - allowing him to be ideally placed to understand both the liabilities and the investments of pension schemes.

In his new role, Tony will focus on growing Aon’s fiduciary business, helping to build and to continually improve the services and solutions provided to clients.

Mike Pedel, senior partner and EMEA commercial director for Aon, said:
“It’s always particularly gratifying when someone chooses to return to the firm and we are very pleased that Tony Baily is bringing his 27 years of experience in pensions back to the team at Aon.

“Tony has very extensive knowledge gained from working in many different areas – including giving actuarial advice to both trustees and corporates, as well as guiding schemes on investment strategy and decision-making. That is a rare breadth of skills and I’m sure our clients will value it greatly.”
