About Justitia

Justitia is an Incorporated Society with a proud history of providing risk management and Professional Indemnity Insurance solutions to legal practitioners since 1985. In partnership with Aon, the world’s leading insurance broker, Justitia provides quality Professional Indemnity and associated Liability group product and risk management advice to New Zealand legal professionals.

Justitia is owned and run by lawyers for lawyers. It is not an insurance company.

Founded by legal practitioners for the benefit of legal practitioners – the Board of Management adopts the principals and philosophies of a voluntary co-operative group.

Made up of over 250 members.

• Membership is open to all Legal Practitioners in New Zealand.
• Membership of Justitia is free but requires completion of an application form.

Aon New Zealand provides professional and knowledgeable insurance advice and services to Justitia members. The Professional Indemnity and Companion Liability insurance policies are handled by a team of liability insurance specialists.
