Aon Appoints Jason Disborough as Chief Commercial Officer, Pacific

SYDNEY, 18 Nov. 2025 - Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced the appointment of Jason Disborough as chief commercial officer, Pacific, effective 1 January 2026.

Based in Brisbane, Disborough will join the Executive Leadership Teams for both Australia and New Zealand, as well as the newly formed Pacific Partnership Committee and remain a member of Aon’s Global Leadership Team. In this new role, he will lead Aon’s commercial strategy and execution across the region, and oversee client engagement to deliver innovative, client-centric solutions.

Disborough brings more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry — most of those at Aon and most recently served as enterprise growth leader for Asia Pacific and chief executive officer multinational clients (International). He is widely recognised for his leadership, deep client relationships and expertise in driving growth across Australia, New Zealand and global markets. He has played an integral role in the success of the Aon Insights Series, establishing and leading the event in Australia for over two decades and spearheading its expansion into New Zealand.

The Pacific Partnership Committee, launched earlier this year, is designed to foster greater connectivity and collaboration between Australia and New Zealand, enabling the sharing of insights, strategies and experience to better serve clients and support colleague development across the region.
