Aon Announces Strategic Move in Guam and Saipan
SINGAPORE (4 October 2019)

, the leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions today announced a strategic approach for its Guam and Saipan operations.
The firm has signed an agreement with Tan Holdings Corporation, to enable them to acquire 100 percent of Aon’s shareholding in its local subsidiary Aon Insurance Micronesia, in Guam and Saipan.
The agreement is effective 30th September 2019 and the new firm will be called Assurance Brokers Guam and Assurance Brokers Saipan, subject to applicable approvals.
The Aon team in Guam and Saipan will transfer to the new firm, which will become an exclusive long-term Aon global network correspondent, resulting in continuity of service for clients provided by locally-based experts backed by the global infrastructure and market access of Aon. This change will see Tan Holdings Corporation invest in the business for the future, and clients will continue to experience the same high service standards with Assurance Brokers Guam and Assurance Brokers Saipan operating in line with Aon’s network guidelines and protocols.
Assurance Brokers Guam and Assurance Brokers Saipan will work closely with Aon and will continue to serve clients with the support of Aon’s resources such as the Global Broking Centres in London, Singapore and Bermuda and Aon’s market leading data, analytics and catastrophe modelling.
