Aon-COFCO Announces Dai Jia to Succeed Clare Wu as General Manager

 
SHANGHAI (25 March 2022) – Aon-COFCO, the joint venture between COFCO and Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced the retirement of Clare Wu, general manager of Aon-COFCO, after more than two decades of serving the firm. Dai Jia, currently deputy general manager of Aon-COFCO, will succeed her as general manager effective 1st May 2022.
Wu joined Aon in China in 1995, and in 1997 was appointed as chief representative of Aon in China (Nanjing). Since then, she has played a key role in bringing leading total risk management strategies and solutions to clients in China.

Dai joined Aon-COFCO in 2016 in a senior management role and in 2017 was appointed as the deputy general manager and chief broking officer. Since that time, he has led the special insurance team in risk management consulting, infrastructure engineering, financial and professional services, and credit insurance. Dai has also been responsible for the company's premium placement and digital strategy.
Prior to joining Aon-COFCO, Dai served as general manager of Zurich Insurance Company (Beijing) and held management positions at American International Group (AIG), Bechtel China, Swiss Re and Shanghai Construction Engineering group.
