Hurricane Harvey: Post-Loss Response
The 2017 Atlantic Basin Hurricane Season has begun with dramatic storm activity. Hurricane Harvey made landfall on the South Central Texas coast, inundating the region with 1 in 500 year flooding, creating severe property losses for many organizations and individuals.

Texas INsight Bills
A new law that takes effect Friday, September 1, 2017 that will impact how certain judicial actions against insurers pertaining to weather-related property damage insurance claims will be handled in Texas after Thursday, August 31, 2017. The new law does not apply to flood insurance policies administered by FEMA under the National Flood Insurance Program, or to actions against or involving the Texas Windstorm Association.
