The Opportunity
Reporting to Aon Inpoint COO Asia Pacific , the Senior Consultant is responsible for engaging with our clients on project based work. You will work with clients to understand their objectives, address their challenges and develop a deep understanding of market conditions and issues. The successful candidate will assume a leadership role across multiple client engagements and create strategies that drive growth opportunities and competitive market advantages.
In this role you responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Working with clients to understand their strategic priorities and identify opportunities for Consulting engagement
- Developing and drafting client proposals
- Structuring and framing projects to define critical analyses, organize work streams, and allocate team resources
- Managing and overseeing the work of one or more analysts / consultants / peer reviews
- Developing a storyboard and framework for analysis
- Managing and overseeing the work of more junior team members
- Synthesizing findings and identifying key insights from analysis of data
- Preparing and conducting client and industry expert interviews
- Communicating findings to the client, as well as to internal stakeholders
- Building and maintaining ongoing relationships with key client executives and other stakeholders
- Work with senior management to develop proposals and identify business development opportunities
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven work experience in corporate strategy or management consulting with experience in the P&C insurance industry (commercial lines experience is preferred)
- Experience leading projects and managing teams of other professionals to deliver quality work to senior stakeholders
- A Bachelor’s degree (an MBA is preferred)
- Strong analytical abilities and a track record of business success
- Ability to perform well under pressure, on multiple work streams, and with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a critical eye in overseeing work on peer reviews
- Capability to regularly identify opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and work efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients
- Skills to develop client-ready materials (PowerPoint, Excel etc)
