Aon Belgium BV Granted Full Authorisation in the UK by the FCA
In 2020, Aon Belgium BV was approved by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to operate in the UK under the Temporary Permissions Regime (TPR).
We are now pleased to announce that on 16 December 2022 Aon Belgium BV received approval by the FCA as an authorised insurance intermediary (Aon Belgium (fca.org.uk)). With the TPR due to expire on 31 December 2023, we’re delighted to achieve this authorisation well in advance of this deadline.
This is a significant milestone for Aon following the UK’s departure from the European Union and ensures we can continue to support our European clients with their business activities.
This approval now provides Aon Belgium BV with dual registration with both the FSMA [Belgium] and FCA [UK] supervisory authorities.
