Aon Ireland Strengthens Management Team with Two Senior Appointments

James Tone appointed COO and Alcarine Power appointed Head of Pension Risk Management at Aon Ireland  
 

DUBLIN, 5 June 2023Aon plc (NYSE: AON),a leading global professional services firm, today announced two senior appointments with a focus on both strengthening its management team and ensuring Aon is best positioned to deliver value to clients.

James Tone has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for Aon Ireland and will assume responsibility for leading the delivery of solutions to optimise operational excellence, drive sustainable growth and ultimately the Aon client experience. Joining Aon from Bank of America, James has had an extensive career spanning 21 years in financial services. During that time, he has held regional and global roles, and most recently he has held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Risk Executive for Technology and Operations in Bank of America Europe.

Newly appointed to the position of Head of Pension Risk Management at Aon Ireland Alcarine Power joins the Wealth Solutions team with almost thirty years’ experience of working in the area of managing and mitigating against financial risk. Alcarine joins the team in helping to support Aon customers to navigate uncertainty and manage volatility in the market. Immediately prior to taking on this position she held the role of Head of Financial Risk at Vhi and prior to this held a number of other positions in not only the area of risk management but also pensions actuary working as a trustee and corporate advisor.
