What’s your cyber defence?

Cyber-attacks are hitting some of the largest companies out there and barely a day goes by without this being mentioned in the press. How would you feel if your sponsor was in the headlines due to an attack on your pension scheme? As a trustee, do you know how you would tackle a crisis situation?

In this interactive session, you can get to grips first-hand with the consequences of a cyber-attack. We will highlight some of the key actions that trustees and sponsors should be taking in relation to this risk and promise to leave you with plenty to think about.

Emma Moore, Senior Consultant, Aon

Legislation and Governance: Raising the bar

The pensions landscape is becoming increasingly complex with little sign of this slowing down.

2018 saw the roll out of the Government's Roadmap for Pensions Reform. IORP II is currently in the process of being transposed into Irish law and this will place an additional significant governance burden on pension schemes, including the need for written policies on areas like risk management, outsourcing and actuarial. We discuss the key compliance considerations and the steps you may be expected to take in the future

Caroline Rowan, Senior Consultant, Aon

The power of one

In light of the ever-increasing compliance and governance requirements, we explore how both DB & DC collective vehicles (multiple employers) can meet these evolving needs to ease the increasing governance burdens, whilst delivering tangible results.
