McDonagh & Boland was founded in 1918. Its objective was to provide an efficient, imaginative, cost effective broking and financial service to an emerging Irish Nation. The current shareholders and executives share the same vision of excellence and our local and international clientele reflect our prominent position in the insurance market place.

Aon McDonagh Boland Group was formed in April 1997 following the global acquisition of Alexander & Alexander Inc. and the Bain Hogg Group. A number of local acquisitions have brought us key resources to strengthen our capabilities.

Aon McDonagh Boland employs upwards of 400 professional insurance and risk/loss consultants through Ireland in offices located in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Mullingar and Belfast.
