Dave joined Aon’s Captive & Insurance Management in the Isle of Man in September 2009 as Director of Finance and Accounting with responsibility for managing the finance resource within the office whilst maintaining specific accounting responsibilities to certain clients. Dave's role has expanded to include responsibility for compliance and governance within Aon Insurance Managers (Isle of Man) Limited and Aon Corporate Services (Isle of Man) Limited.
Prior to joining Aon, Dave started his career with Sedgwick Management Services (IOM) Limited in 1992 and later joined Communicator Insurance Company Limited, British Telecommunications Plc's self-managed captive in 2000 as Manager of Accounting with responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, group submissions, budget preparation, treasury management, secretarial and investment work. In addition, the role included managing a number of non-insurance vehicles, helping to establish appropriate financial structures that were beneficial to the group. Dave is a qualified Management Accountant (ACMA)
