Paul is responsible for leading a team of Senior Account Executives, Senior Account Managers, Account Managers and Account Administrators in the delivery of management services to a large portfolio of offshore captive clients for Aon’s Captive & Insurance Management based in Cayman.
Management services include assistance with feasibility studies, incorporation procedures, ongoing management of captive insurance companies to include financial planning and reporting, audit completion, regulatory reporting and attendance and presentation at the board meeting level.
Paul has current account lead responsibilities for a number of large US healthcare, group captive and reinsurance clients.
Paul oversees the internal training program for Aon’s Captive & Insurance Management in Cayman and reviews employee evaluations.
Paul began his career with a Professional Accounting Practice in Ireland where he graduated to Senior Manager. He was responsible for a large portfolio of clients and excelled in the areas of accounting, finance and management.
Paul joined Aon as an Account Manager in November 2005 where he progressed to Senior Account Manager in 2008, Assistant Vice President in 2011 and Vice President in 2013. He is now Senior Vice President.
Paul brings over seventeen years of accounting and finance experience to his role.
Paul received his Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2000. He was made a Fellow (FCCA) in 2005. He also holds a Diploma in Professional Accounting from AIT, Ireland.
