Aon Commercial Risk U.S. Electronic Disclosure and Consent Terms

These Electronic Disclosure and Consent Terms contain information about how Aon Risk Services Companies, Inc., on behalf of itself and its licensed insurance brokerage subsidiaries (“We” “Our” or “Us”) will, in accordance with applicable law, electronically deliver the insurance policies and endorsements We arrange for your organization and/or its subsidiaries and affiliates, or other parties for whom You make insurance procurement decisions.

Definitions

The following words and phrases shall have the meanings given to them, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
“Agreement”: These Electronic Disclosure and Consent Terms
“Insurer”: An insurance company issuing a policy and bearing the risk
“Policy”: A contract of insurance purchased through Aon Risk Services between an insurer and your organization and/or its subsidiaries and affiliates.
“Endorsement”: A written document attached to policy that modifies the policy by changing the coverage afforded under the policy.
“Policy documents”: Include policies and endorsements or other documentation that impacts the scope and terms of insurance coverage.
“You.” The individual with authority to fulfill this Agreement on behalf of the identified organization.

Introduction

We, whether on Our own behalf, and/or on behalf of an insurer and/or third parties, may utilize the Internet, email, digital media or the like to transmit insurance policies and insurance policy endorsements to Our clients. This Agreement informs You of your rights when We are delivering and You are receiving such documents from Us electronically.

Option to Obtain Paper Copies of Documents

You have the option to request that We provide You with paper copies of those policy documents We provide to You electronically at this website, or through the electronic mail address You provide Us. If You wish to obtain the documents in non-electronic form, notify Us in writing and your documents will be mailed to You.

Notification of Changes

You agree to notify Us promptly if your mailing address, e-mail address or other delivery information changes. We will endeavor to provide a notice to You in the event of any changes regarding hardware or software requirements necessary to receive policy documents and other related documents electronically. If, after You have consented to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, a change in the hardware or software requirements needed to access policy documents electronically creates a material risk that You will not be able to access or retain subsequent electronic documents which are the subject of this Agreement We will provide You with a description of the revised hardware and software requirements for access to, and retention of, the electronic documents.

Hardware and Software Requirements

Before consenting to receive policy documents electronically, You must determine if You and/or your organization have the necessary hardware and software to access and retain these documents electronically. To access these documents, You will need an electronic mailing address, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and a personal computer or other device which is capable of accessing the Internet. To retain your documents, your access device must have the ability to download to your hard drive, or any external media storage, or to print the documents, as well as embedded HTML files.

Withdrawal of Consent to Electronic Notices and Statements

You are not required to do business electronically. If You do not agree to receive policy documents electronically You may withdraw your consent via written request to aon.us.broking@aon.com. Upon receipt of your withdrawal of consent, You will begin receiving paper policies and endorsements as soon as reasonably possible. You will not be penalized for electing to receive paper copies instead of electronically delivered policy documents. Withdrawal of your consent will not affect the terms or conditions of any policy or endorsement previously received electronically.

Consent to E-Delivery and Acknowledgement

You consent under the terms herein to the electronic delivery of documents via email or other electronic media in connection with Your organization’s (or any other organization for whom it is authorized to make insurance procurement decisions) insurance policies and endorsements by Aon Risk Services Companies, Inc., whether such delivery is made on its own behalf and/or on behalf of insurers or other third parties.
