Joe Peiser

Joe is the CEO of Risk Capital for Aon, where he leads the global capability that brings together Aon’s Commercial Risk Solutions, Reinsurance Solutions and Strategic Transactions Group to help clients access capital, navigate volatility and enhance resilience. In this role, Joe oversees Aon’s global broking, consulting and risk transfer strategies while unifying capabilities across lines of insurance and reinsurance to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions.

Joe works closely with clients to understand their risk and capital challenges and partners with Aon’s solution line leaders and Aon Business Services to accelerate the delivery of impactful client offerings, ensuring clients benefit from a more connected, analytics enabled capital ecosystem. 

Before assuming leadership of Risk Capital, Joe served as Global CEO of Commercial Risk solutions, responsible for broking, consulting and innovation across the firm’s global Commercial Risk portfolio. He also served as Aon’s Commercial Risk Leader for North America after joining the firm in 2021. 

Prior to joining Aon, Joe served as Head of Broking for Willis Towers Watson’s Corporate Risk & Broking segment, leading global broking strategy, including the development of its technology-enabled Broking Platform. Joe began his career in 1986 with Johnson & Higgins (J&H), a predecessor to Marsh, and spent 19 years with J&H/Marsh in New York, London and Bermuda in broking leadership, alternative risk financing and client executive roles. He later served as President of Wright Risk Consulting and led Wright Risk Specialty, an MGA focused on insurance programs for schools, municipalities, colleges and food service companies.

Joe serves on the boards of the All-Stars Project/Development School for Youth and the G.O.A.L.S. Athletic League, and in 2022 was inducted into Insurance Business America’s Insurance Hall of Fame.
