How can organizations deliver the total reward offerings that employees increasingly expect?

Today’s workforce dynamics are steadily shifting, with healthcare affordability, pay transparency and upskilling for new technology front of mind for future-ready businesses.

 Failure to attract or retain top talent was ranked the second most important risk for UK businesses in our 2023 Global Risk Management Survey. Now, Aon’s Employee Sentiment Study has shown the scale of the challenge, with 60 percent of surveyed employees either moving, potentially or definitely seeking new employment in the next 12 months.

Our survey of over 9,000 people across 23 locations has highlighted that employers are failing to accommodate the differing needs of their people, while the global workforce remains unprepared for the future of AI.

With these challenges in mind, organizations must go further to ensure that their human capital strategies align with the needs of their people. Data and analytics play a crucial role in understanding the priorities of different employee cohorts, opening the door to more effective reward offerings.

An enhanced focus on employee value propositions also comes at a time when budgets can’t sustain a significantly greater spend. Making the most from benefit spending is essential to yield the highest returns in terms of employee satisfaction, retention and productivity.
