This year, we celebrate the 21st Anniversary of the Aon Insights Series Pacific 2025, which will take place on Wednesday, 8 October and Thursday, 9 October in Melbourne. The Aon Insights Series Pacific 2025 will map out the core Risk and Human Capital issues impacting organisations and the critical decisions that leaders and their teams grapple with day-to-day.

Bringing together global subject matter experts, industry thought leaders, and senior decision makers, the Aon Insights Series Pacific 2025 aims to give you the clarity and confidence to make better decisions.

Major General Paul Symon AO (Retd) served as Director-General of the Australian Secret Intelligence Service from 2017 to 2022, following a 35-year military career that included senior leadership in Iraq, Afghanistan, and East Timor. A respected communicator and strategist, he also held roles as Deputy Chief of the Army and Director of the Defence Intelligence Organisation. He holds two master’s degrees and has deep expertise in international relations, national security, and intelligence. Now a speaker, he brings insights on political, economic, and security issues.

Emeritus Professor Ian Harper AO is a leading Australian economist renowned for his work in public policy. He serves on the Reserve Bank of Australia's Board and chairs the Australian Statistics Advisory Council. Until November 2023, he was Dean and Director at Melbourne Business School. Harper previously chaired major government bodies including the Competition Policy Review and Fair Pay Commission. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and the Australian Institute of Company Directors and was made an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2020 for service to economics and public policy. Harper also holds leadership roles within the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.
