Since 2013 Aon has run an exclusive Global Automotive Compensation Industry Group for senior Compensation & Benefits specialists with an international remit.

The group was established following the successful launch of an automotive industry initiative in Europe, driven by the need for a global C&B exchange platform and consistent industry-specific compensation survey.

Automotive producers and suppliers are invited to join the group.

The group is a networking platform for over 200 C&B professionals, representing the majority of global Automotive Producers and Automotive Suppliers from Europe, North America, Asia and Latin America. Nowadays it provides networking and compensation data for 75 countries. This makes it the largest, most comprehensive, globally connected and consistent automotive compensation forum and survey in the world, with discussion items ranging from strategic to operational issues.

Our last EMEA Automotive meeting, hosted by Jaguar Landrover in Birmingham was very successful.

40 participants had in depth discussions about

  • Automatization in the salary/bonus review process
  • European legislation and data protection requirements
  • "High costs vs. low costs countries" (trends, outlook)
  • Developments around job evaluation/leveling/grading
  • C&B in the "old" & "new" economies (high-tech vs. Automotive)
  • Gender Pay Gap / Pay Equity

The next EMEA meeting will take place in Q4, 2017.

Although the demand for participation is always high, we keep the places for our automotive meetings limited to ensure high quality discussions and effective networking.
